Many a road trip do we drive through areas we don't see from the highway, and only see a sign along the road. Tubac, Arizona is one of those towns tucked away off the highway, and frankly the residents like it that way. History goes way back at the Resort, the Spanish style rooms are luxurious and comfortable. For golfers the course is user friendly and makes you want to come back for more. The village of Tubac is about 1/2 mile away, easy to walk or take a golf cart. There are no signals in town, but lots of restaurants, art galleries and friendly people. Tucson is 40 minutes away if you need the big city. Tubac is a hidden gem, a place where many visitors end up owning a second home. Spend a few days in Tubac, you'll be glad you did.
