IF I'VE NEVER PLAYED GOLF BEFORE, WILL I BENEFIT FROM CUSTOM FIT GOLF CLUBS?
If your golf clubs are the right length, weight, have the correct flex, grip size and the lie angles are correct, then the better chance the new golfer can set up properly from the beginning. A new golfer is more likely to develop bad habits which may not be because of bad swing techniques but because of improperly fitted golf equipment. The learning curve will be much smaller with properly fit equipment and less frustrating.
WHAT HAPPENS DURING A FITTING SESSION?
A fitting session will take from 1.5 hrs to 3 hrs depending on the individual. We will take the specs off your present equipment: shaft flex, bend point, balance point and torsional stiffness; frequency, loft, lie, swing weight, grip size, and head design: we will also test your swing speed, tempo, rate of acceleration and grip size. We will address and define the directions we should take to design the proper clubs. We will look at clubhead design and set make-up that will best contribute to your playing goals.
